Helen Macdonald is an experienced Cognitive-Behavioural
Psychotherapist and Health Psychologist She studied
Psychology at the University of Leicester; qualified
as a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) in Wales, trained
in Behavioural Psychotherapy at the Institute of Psychiatry
in London and has a Masters' degree in Cognitive-Behavioural
Psychotherapy from the University of Derby.
She has been accredited by the British
Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies
since 1994, Chartered as a Health Psychologist by the
British Psychological Society in 2004, and is a full
member of the Division of Health Psychology. She has
extensive experience of working with clients with anxiety,
Chronic Pain, depression, post-traumatic stress, gambling
problems and other difficulties. She also leads workshops
and training in Cognitive-Behavioural Techniques and
offers clinical supervision for therapists.
